The following are key highlights from the Richard Ondeng' Library Rules and Regulations. All library users are expected to observe these at all times.
Opening Hours
- Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Interterm & Holidays: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Closed on Sundays and public holidays
Discipline
- Total silence must be observed at all times
- Show your Student or Staff ID at the entrance
- Mobile phones must be on silent — no calls inside
- No bags inside — leave them at the luggage area
- No eating, drinking, smoking or sleeping
Borrowing
- Maximum 10 books for a period of 2 weeks
- Present your college ID before borrowing
- Return books on or before the due date
- Do not borrow on behalf of others
- Reference books and journals: library use only
Electronic Resources
- Use for educational and research purposes only
- Do not share your login credentials
- No systematic bulk downloading of content
- Do not distribute copies to individuals or groups
Overdue Fines

| General collection books | KSh 10 per day |
| Reserve material | KSh 10 per hour |
| Books not returned by end of term | KSh 500 per book |
| Lost book (not returned within 30 days) | Full replacement cost + KSh 500 |
